Bommarillu Orphanage is an agency who collects children who don’t have parents, were abused as children, homeless children on the streets, and child laborers who begged on trains for money. These children were collected by the police and brought to this agency that provides shelter, food, and education to live a happier life with schooling and children like them. These children were taught many extracurricular activities, one of which was chess, so the Embolden Team decided to use their potential and provide a 3 week summer camp. Recently, two of the students placed in a small, local district tournament, and they were interested in getting better. The Embolden Team has already set them up with chess equipment and a computer to enable them to learn online via zoom with our qualified tutors. The Embolden Team is now collecting funds to provide them with laptops and more proper chess equipment. We are looking forward to moving along with our tutoring and making new champions!
